It is reported that the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department is providing animal feed and treatment to livestock that have been relocated from flood-affected areas in Hlegu Township to nearby flood-free areas. The provision of feed and treatment for livestock began on August 1 by staff and officials from the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department, and as of August 3, 164 cattle had been vaccinated, and 375 kilograms of animal feed had been distributed to 131 cattle, 141 pigs, and 58 goats, it was said. The Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department will continue to provide animal feed distribution and treatment, and it is also reported that medicines and animal feed have already been distributed to the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Departments in the flood-affected areas.
