Cambodian Court Upholds 10-Year Sentence for Ex-Opposition Candidate on Treason Charges
The Battambang Court of Appeal has upheld a 10-year prison sentence for Chhan Nhat, a former opposition candidate, on charges of treason and illegal border crossing facilitation. He was accused of leaking military information near the border and posting online about Thai troops encroaching on Cambodian territory.
