FPT Pledges Partnership with Hanoi to Realize 100-Year Vision

FPT, a leading Vietnamese technology corporation, has signed three strategic cooperation agreements with Hanoi city and related institutions during the announcement of the capital's "100-year vision" development plan. FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh expressed the company's commitment to realizing Hanoi's future development aspirations. At the conference announcing the Master Plan for Hanoi Capital (100-year vision) and Investment Promotion held on June 29, FPT signed agreements with the Hanoi People's Committee and other partners to promote digital transformation, develop quantum computing technology, and foster the ecosystem of a Digital and Mixed Technology Park in Tay Tuu and Phu Dien wards. Mr. Binh reflected on FPT's 38-year journey, starting from a small garage and growing into a global technology enterprise with significant support from the government. He emphasized that being chosen as the investor for the Digital and Mixed Technology Park in Tay Tuu and Phu Dien wards is both an honor and a great responsibility for FPT. FPT plans to develop this technology park into a hub for talent cultivation, attracting students, scientists, and technology experts. It also aims to make the park a "living exhibition" of strategic technologies such as AI, semiconductors, cybersecurity, quantum technology, robotics, and drones, while building an open innovation ecosystem through collaboration with domestic and international technology firms, universities, research institutes, and Vietnamese businesses. "We will cooperate with domestic and international businesses to undertake significant projects, transforming the Digital and Mixed Technology Park in Tay Tuu and Phu Dien wards into a 'garden of happiness' where people can learn, research, work, and enjoy life in a modern space," affirmed Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT. The three signed cooperation agreements are: 1. An agreement between FPT, the Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam National University Hanoi, and the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology on the development of a quantum computing technology ecosystem. The parties will coordinate to build a development project for Hanoi's quantum technology, develop research infrastructure, train human resources, enhance international cooperation, and promote research and application of quantum technology, aiming to make Hanoi a center for quantum technology research, training, and application in Vietnam and the region. 2. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between FPT and the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology on the development of a digital technology ecosystem and investment attraction for the Digital and Mixed Technology Park in Tay Tuu and Phu Dien wards. The two sides will coordinate to develop a digital technology ecosystem, research strategic technologies such as AI, semiconductors, data, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and quantum technology, and connect domestic and international businesses, experts, and investors. 3. An MOU between FPT and the Hanoi People's Committee to promote the comprehensive digital transformation of the capital for the period 2026-2030. The cooperation will focus on developing digital government, digital economy, digital society, and digital citizens; deploying AI, data, and cloud computing platforms; providing digital skills training, AI popularization, supporting businesses in digital transformation, and developing smart urban areas. These three cooperation agreements demonstrate FPT's determination to accompany the capital in realizing its 100-year vision through science, technology, and innovation.
