Bangkok's Giant Buddha at Wat Paknam Becomes New Landmark
A colossal 69-meter-tall Buddha statue, Phra Buddha Dhammakaya Thep Mongkol, has been completed at Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen in Bangkok. Made of 99.99% pure copper and depicted in meditation, the statue is emerging as a prominent new landmark for the temple.
