Thailand's EEC to Develop New Smart City with 72 Billion Baht Investment

Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Committee has approved a 72 billion baht public-private partnership (PPP) scheme to develop the EECiti smart city. The 50-year project will focus on infrastructure and the creation of sports and entertainment facilities, with contractor selection expected in early 2027 and construction starting in 2028.
