Aung San Suu Kyi's meeting with ICRC is due to domestic and international efforts, NUG says, CRPH warns that mere negotiations will not yield results

The National Unity Government (NUG) and the Committee Representing the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) told Mizzima that the meeting between State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, who is under arrest and detention, and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) was a culmination of domestic and international pressure, and that mere negotiations would not yield good results.
