President U Min Aung Hlaing has begun a State Visit to Cambodia on Friday at the invitation of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia. The visit is expected to provide an opportunity for the two sides to discuss ways to further strengthen the longstanding friendly relations between Myanmar and Cambodia and promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the two governments, parliaments and peoples. During the visit, President U Min Aung Hlaing is scheduled to meet with the President of the Senate, who is serving as Acting Head of State, and hold bilateral talks. He will also meet with the Prime Minister of Cambodia and the President of the National Assembly. As part of his programme, President U Min Aung Hlaing is also scheduled to visit prominent sites and ancient pagodas in Cambodia. The President is accompanied by Union Ministers and senior officials during the State Visit.
