Kampong Thom, Cambodia – September 14, 2026 – Phang Vey, Team Leader of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) working group for Tra Commune, Stoeng District, Kampong Thom Province, has provided key recommendations and values, stating that "sincere and proactive service to citizens is the determinant factor in maintaining popularity and building strong trust." Phang Vey, who also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the CPP's provincial working group for Kampong Thom and Chairman of the working group for Stoeng District, shared these insights during a meeting held on September 12, 2026, at the commune party office in Tra Commune, Stoeng District. The meeting was convened to strengthen youth engagement and review work activities at the grassroots level. During the meeting, Phang Vey highlighted significant past achievements, noting the collaborative efforts of the working group in developing physical infrastructure. These include the construction of a new commune party office, road repairs and graveling, restoration of irrigation canals, construction of artistic structures, and the installation of solar streetlights throughout the commune. Concurrently, the working group actively participated in social welfare initiatives, providing assistance to needy families, mothers who have just given birth, and families of the deceased. They also donated construction materials to schools, pagodas, and health centers, contributing to the advancement of public, social, and religious sectors. Furthermore, Phang Vey outlined key directions to guide and enhance work efficiency. These include the continued strengthening of internal solidarity as a collective force, direct engagement with citizens through timely and transparent problem-solving, and the formulation of clear strategic plans aimed at achieving victory in the upcoming commune and district council elections. As the head of the working group for Tra Commune, Phang Vey instructed all team members to continue visiting and paying close attention to the living conditions of citizens, including mothers who have recently given birth, families facing hardship, and those in need.
