Tuyen Quang Province Ensures Traffic Safety During National Day Holiday

Tuyen Quang Province in northern Vietnam has largely ensured traffic order and safety within its jurisdiction during the 5-day holiday period for National Day, September 2nd (from August 29th to September 2nd, 2026). The provincial traffic police intensified patrols and inspection activities to maintain traffic safety throughout the holiday. This included strict handling of traffic violations, contributing to smooth and safe traffic flow. Notably, on September 1st, a reduction in both the number of traffic accidents and fatalities was reported, suggesting the effectiveness of these measures. The province also focused on ensuring traffic order and safety for road transport businesses and promoting traffic safety measures for the holiday and the start of the new school year. Across Vietnam, various traffic safety initiatives are being implemented. For instance, Hanoi City processed 630 violations related to railway safety, and efforts are being made to balance rapid construction progress with traffic safety in infrastructure development. Furthermore, the traffic police have instructed strict crackdowns on vehicles intentionally failing to maintain safe distances, and the enhancement of technological surveillance systems is also progressing. Traffic control measures were implemented on the final day of the holiday to ensure smooth traffic flow. Nhan Dan, the official newspaper of the Communist Party of Vietnam, reports on the implementation of these traffic safety measures, conveying the public's safety awareness and the government's efforts to maintain social order.
