Woman Injured in Train-Motorcycle Collision Near Pathum Thani Industrial Estate

PATHUM THANI, Thailand – A woman was injured after a train struck her motorcycle near the railway tracks behind Nava Nakorn Industrial Estate in Khlong Nueng subdistrict, Khlong Luang district, on July 19. The Pathum Thani joint emergency coordination centre received a report of the accident at 12:33 p.m. Emergency responders from the Ruam Pathum rescue team rushed to the scene to assist the injured motorcyclist. Initial reports found that the victim, a woman, suffered injuries from the impact. Rescue workers provided first aid before transporting her to Thammasat University Hospital for further medical treatment. The collision occurred along the railway line behind the industrial estate, though details of how the motorcycle came into contact with the train remain unclear. Police from Khlong Luang Police Station are investigating the incident to determine the cause and take further legal action if necessary.
