Health Screening Initiative Reaches Monks in Sri Racha

SRI RACHA, CHONBURI: Somdet Phra Boromma Ratchathewi Hospital at Sri Racha has brought health services directly to local monks through the "Thai Monks Far from Disease" project. This initiative aims to promote proactive community healthcare by providing on-site medical screening. The activity was held at Wat Ratniyomtham in Sri Racha. Deputy Mayor of Sri Racha Municipality Praphat Charoensantisuk welcomed the project, underscoring the importance of maintaining the health of monks. The hospital's objective is to support monks in staying free from illness and to elevate health awareness across the community. This project focuses on the monastic community, which may have limited access to healthcare services. By offering regular health checks, it seeks to enable early detection and treatment of potential health issues, thereby contributing to the extension of monks' healthy lifespans and, consequently, to the overall health promotion of the local community.
