First Homes Handed Over to Flood Victims in Muong Than, Lai Chau

On the afternoon of July 30, in San Bay village, Muong Than commune, Lai Chau province, the first seven houses in the resettlement area for residents who lost their homes due to the historic flood on July 17 were handed over. This initiative is supported by a 5 billion VND allocation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to Lai Chau province. These houses are part of urgent infrastructure development aimed at stabilizing the lives of residents in areas hit by natural disasters, particularly severe floods and landslides. The provision of these resettlement homes represents a crucial step towards rebuilding the lives of affected residents, offering immediate shelter and support.
