Khorat Father Appeals to Media After Daughter Injured by Stray Dogs, Demands Solution to Overpopulation

A father in Thailand's northeastern province of Khorat has appealed to the media, seeking societal attention to the severe injuries his daughter sustained after being attacked by a pack of stray dogs. According to the father, his daughter was on her way to school when a group of stray dogs began chasing her. In her panic, she fell from her bicycle, sustaining serious injuries to her face and other areas, requiring 40 stitches. The medical treatment incurred costs amounting to 50,000 baht (approximately 200,000 Japanese Yen). Stray dogs have been roaming this area in numbers exceeding several hundred, causing growing concern among residents. The father strongly hopes that this tragic incident will prompt decisive measures to address the stray dog problem, which poses a threat to community safety.
