Laem Chabang Port Congestion Eased, Truck Queue System to Launch in October

The Thai government is implementing concrete measures to resolve chronic traffic congestion at Laem Chabang Port, located in Chonburi Province. The government has decided to launch a "Truck Queue System" within October. This system aims to manage the concentration of trucks entering the port and reduce congestion on surrounding roads caused by unnecessary waiting vehicles. Furthermore, transparency and fairness were re-emphasized for the third phase of the Laem Chabang Port expansion project. This is a crucial step to eliminate corruption and opacity in the project's implementation and gain international trust.
