Chanthaburi Promotes Black-Chinned Catfish Farming and Duck Raising for Livelihoods

Chanthaburi Province in eastern Thailand is promoting the effective utilization of its specialty, the black-chinned catfish (Pla Mor Kang Dam), and the creation of new income sources through duck egg production, aiming to revitalize the local economy and improve the livelihoods of farmers. This initiative seeks to support the cultivation of black-chinned catfish and enhance its productivity, enabling farmers to secure a stable income. Furthermore, by raising ducks and selling their eggs, farmers can diversify their income streams.
