Cambodian Defense Minister to Attend Beijing Xiangshan Forum, Meet Chinese Counterpart
Cambodia's Minister of National Defense, Tea Seiha, will attend the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum at the invitation of China's Minister of National Defense. He is expected to deliver a speech on regional conflicts and hold bilateral meetings with his Chinese counterpart and defense ministers from Laos, Vietnam, and Singapore.
Cambodia's Minister of National Defense, General Tea Seiha, will lead a high-level military delegation to attend the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum at the invitation of China's Minister of National Defense, Admiral Dong Jun. The forum is scheduled to take place in Beijing from September 15 to 17. According to a press release from the Ministry of National Defense issued on September 14, General Tea Seiha is slated to deliver a speech during the second plenary session under the theme "Regional Conflicts: Obstacles and Paths to Resolution." Outside the forum's framework, General Tea Seiha will hold bilateral talks with his Chinese counterpart, Admiral Dong Jun. The primary objective of these discussions is to further strengthen the "ironclad friendship," comprehensive strategic partnership, and cooperation in defense and security between Cambodia and China. Additionally, General Tea Seiha is scheduled to engage in bilateral working meetings with his counterparts from Laos, Vietnam, and Singapore, as well as representatives from other participating countries and dialogue partners. The Ministry of National Defense affirmed that these meetings will provide an opportunity for exchanging views on the evolving regional and international security landscape. They are also expected to foster deeper cooperation in defense and security, enhance mutual understanding, and promote practical collaboration for peace, stability, and prosperity within the region and beyond.
