Thai Nominees Used to Buy Bangkok Luxury Homes for Chinese Occupants

Thai police are investigating alleged fraudulent property transactions involving luxury homes, reportedly purchased for Chinese occupants whose behavior annoyed neighbors. A Chinese national is suspected of using a Thai mother and daughter as nominees to establish companies that bought 33 luxury residences worth 1.3 billion baht.
