He noted that by 2026, Midea had produced 2.25 million units of air conditioners, 1 million units of refrigerators, and 367,500 units of washing machines. Exports have reached approximately 2 million units to ASEAN and North American regions. The Indonesian government remains committed to fostering a conducive business climate through policies such as mandatory SNI (Indonesian National Standard) and TKDN (Domestic Component Level). "We hope that Midea can further improve Indonesia's position in the company's global production and business networks," Riza added, envisioning Indonesia as a strategic partner and an important production base for Midea. Ma Kai, President of Residential Air Conditioner PT Jaya Refrigeration Equipment, emphasized Midea's dedication to increasing local investment, strengthening local operations, and collaborating with domestic suppliers.
