Mam Bunheng, a Member of Parliament for Phnom Penh and Deputy Head of the Working Group for Sen Sok District, visited the Chhuk Meas Market in Sen Sok District, Phnom Penh, on July 5, 2026, to greet vendors. The lawmaker stated that the visit aimed not only to check on the well-being of residents but also to directly understand their livelihoods and any challenges they face, particularly concerning safety within the community. "Today, we have come to meet directly with our citizens who are vendors at Chhuk Meas Market. Beyond checking on their well-being, this visit is to gain a deeper understanding of their needs. Are there any requests or issues?" said Mam Bunheng. "Meeting them, I see happy faces, which shows that our local authorities have consistently paid attention to the welfare of the people, never neglecting it, both in the past and present." He emphasized that under any circumstances, the working group supporting Sen Sok District, along with local authorities, is committed to providing satisfactory and warm public services by protecting the community's safety and promoting public health through health education and awareness campaigns.
