Vachiravudh College has proven its dominance in Thai youth rugby by securing championship titles in both the Under-16 and School categories of the 15-a-side Thailand Rugby Championship. The college triumphed over their long-standing rivals, Por Ror Rachavittaya School, in both divisions. The finals, held at the Air Force Sports Stadium, were attended by prominent figures including Mr. Kunthana Prajobmoh, President of the Rugby Football Union of Thailand, and Air Chief Marshal Pokkrong Montapalin, the association's Secretary-General. In the Under-16 final, Vachiravudh College displayed superior performance, decisively defeating Por Ror Rachavittaya School with a score of 34-16 to claim the championship. The School category final proved to be a highly intense and pressure-filled encounter. Vachiravudh College started strongly, establishing an early 10-0 lead. Por Ror Rachavittaya School fought back, narrowing the gap to 10-9, leading to a back-and-forth battle. Vachiravudh College maintained a slight advantage at 13-12 before extending their lead to 21-12 in the crucial final moments. Por Ror Rachavittaya School continued to press hard, reducing the deficit to 19-21, creating a thrilling climax. In the final minute, Vachiravudh College scored a decisive try, sealing their victory with a final score of 28-19 and securing the School category championship. This remarkable achievement marks Vachiravudh College's sweep of both championship titles in the categories they competed in.
