Jakarta's Low-Income Residents Urged Not to Bear New Tax Burden; PDIP Demands Continuation and Expansion of Relief Measures

The PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) faction in the Jakarta City Council (DPRD DKI Jakarta) has strongly opposed any new tax or levy burdens on low-income residents, public housing occupants, micro and small businesses, and creative economy actors. They are demanding the continuation and expansion of existing relief measures, including administrative fine waivers and exemptions for PBB-P2 and BPHTB.
