The Vice Minister emphasized the intention to further strengthen and expand the cooperation between Cambodia and Japan in the water resources sector, making it more profound and comprehensive for the benefit of sustainable development. This meeting highlights the importance of international cooperation for Cambodia's infrastructure development and agricultural productivity improvement. Stable water resource supply is fundamental to agricultural production and is an urgent issue for Cambodia, which is highly vulnerable to climate change. Japan's technical assistance and know-how are expected to significantly contribute to Cambodia's food security and economic development.
