First Career Fair Held in Yangon

The first career fair (YRYEA NextGen Career Fair 2026) for job-seeking youth in Yangon City has commenced at the Shangri-La Hotel in Yangon City starting on July 4th. This career fair was organized by the Yangon Region Young Entrepreneurs Association (YRYEA). This event is a very important one for the youth who will shape the future of the nation, and it is an event where numerous employment opportunities can be found, said U Sitt Naing, Secretary of the Myanmar National Youth Central Committee and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Youth Affairs. Over 70 companies and organizations are exhibiting at the fair, and job seekers can directly apply for jobs on the spot, receive CV review services from experts, participate in job interviews, and apply for labor registration all in one place. In addition to presenting employment opportunities, panel discussions will also be held at this event, said Director Ma Thinzar Kyaw Win from the Yangon Region Young Entrepreneurs Association. The career fair will be held for two days, July 4th and 5th. The fair features businesses from various sectors including construction, real estate, interior design, electronic technology, mobile phones, banking, cosmetics, training schools, food businesses, and small and medium-sized enterprises.
