Bomb Threat Reported at NU-MOA in Pasay City, Police Investigating

MANILA, Philippines — An alleged bomb threat was reported at National University–Mall of Asia (NU-MOA) in Pasay City, according to the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) on Thursday. In a spot report, the NCRPO said it received the report at around 7:50 a.m. Thursday, while the alleged bomb threat was posted on NU-MOA’s Facebook page. Police immediately acted on the information and launched a thorough investigation. At this time, the credibility of the threat remains unclear. However, police are prioritizing the safety of the public and have implemented heightened security measures. Such threats targeting schools and public places occasionally occur in the Philippines, particularly in urban areas, prompting swift responses from law enforcement agencies.
