Five women lose consciousness at nail salon due to oxygen deprivation from generator during power outage

A system breakdown caused a power outage, and while a generator was being operated inside a nail salon, oxygen deprivation occurred, leading to five women losing consciousness. This incident happened this evening (September 19) in Sanchaung Township, according to the Pagoda Aline Than Charity Organization. Around 7:21 PM on September 19, inside a nail salon on Thantaw Street in Sanchaung Township, a generator was operated, causing oxygen deprivation. Five female patients who were suffering from breathing difficulties and had lost consciousness were quickly transported to the emergency department of Yangon General Hospital by the Pagoda Aline Than Charity Organization using two ambulances. "We transported the five women who had lost consciousness to the hospital. Their lives are not in danger," stated an official from the Pagoda Aline Than Charity Organization. It is known that starting from past 5:30 PM today (September 19), a nationwide system breakdown occurred, causing a power outage, and electricity was restored in some townships after past 8 PM.
