Mars Opens Pringles Factory in Chonburi, Elevating Thailand as AMEA Export Hub

Mars, Incorporated has officially opened its Pringles factory in Chonburi, Thailand, and launched the second production line following an investment exceeding 7 billion baht. This move positions Thailand as a strategic production and export hub for the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) regions. The Chonburi facility, situated within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), covers an area of 73,800 square metres. Operations commenced in late 2025, creating over 170 direct jobs initially. Currently, nearly 50% of the plant's total expenditure is sourced from domestic suppliers. The launch of the second production line aims to boost capacity to meet rising demand and cater to diverse consumer preferences across the AMEA region. The plant will manufacture and distribute Pringles to markets across AMEA, in addition to currently serving India, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Mars plans to introduce a third production line by late 2027, further solidifying the plant's role as a manufacturing hub for both regional and extra-regional markets. Gabriel Fernandez, regional president for AMEA at Mars Snacking, highlighted Thailand's infrastructure, skilled workforce, and connectivity to regional markets as pivotal for expanding the Pringles business. The company is committed to creating quality job opportunities, developing future skills, and fostering leadership capabilities.
