Thai Aviation Authority to Enhance Air Traffic Control with Big Data and AI
The Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (AAT) is set to enhance air traffic control efficiency by implementing Big Data and AI technologies. This initiative aims to strengthen data integration and improve service levels.
The Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (AAT) is accelerating the development of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to improve the efficiency of air traffic control services. This initiative is expected to strengthen the integration of aviation-related data, enabling faster and more accurate information sharing. It is anticipated to reduce the workload of air traffic controllers and contribute to minimizing flight delays. In recent years, air travel demand to Thailand has been on an increasing trend, making congestion relief at major airports and ensuring safety pressing issues. Through Big Data analysis, it will be possible to analyze past flight patterns and weather information in detail, enabling future air demand forecasting and the proposal of optimal flight routes. Furthermore, the introduction of AI will enhance real-time situational awareness and the accuracy of anomaly detection. Through these technological innovations, AAT aims to contribute to strengthening the overall competitiveness of Thailand's aviation infrastructure. Source: MGR Online (Business)
