Beauty Queens and Female Runners to Shine at VM Da Nang 2026

Two beauty queens, Nguyen Thu Ngan and Truong Tam Nhu, along with a host of other dynamic young female runners, will add a touch of glamour to the VnExpress Marathon Da Nang (VM Da Nang) 2026, scheduled for July 19, 2026. Nguyen Thu Ngan, First Runner-up of Miss Grand Vietnam 2025, and Truong Tam Nhu, Second Runner-up of Miss World Vietnam 2025, were present at the VnExpress Marathon Da Nang Expo. Both will be participating in the 5km race, which kicks off at 6:30 AM on July 19. Thu Ngan, 23, stands at 1.72 meters tall and has graduated with a degree in Public Relations from Nam Can Tho University. This marks her debut in a VnExpress Marathon event. Tam Nhu, 21, was the valedictorian of FPT University Da Nang in 2024. Known for her foreign language proficiency and gentle demeanor, the beauty from Hue will also be making her first marathon appearance since becoming a runner-up. The two beauties attracted considerable attention as they posed for photos at the Expo. They spent about an hour at the venue, visiting various booths for minigames and check-ins. Thu Hien, participating in the 10km race, expressed her excitement about experiencing the unique route that crosses the Dragon Bridge. Female runners were seen taking commemorative photos at the Expo after receiving their bibs. The Expo, held on July 17-18, showcased the youthful and radiant energy of the participants as they collected their race kits. Runner Que Chi, who received a 5km bib, shared her desire to experience the competition with thousands of fellow athletes, emphasizing that her goal is to feel the atmosphere and appreciate Da Nang's beauty rather than achieving a specific time. Runner Tran Thi Nhu Quynh was delighted to check in with a backdrop featuring her name. Runners Le Huong and Minh Hue posed with their 21km bibs. This distance is anticipated to be particularly appealing, with a route that runs along the Han River and explores iconic bridges. VM Da Nang 2026 is expected to attract 13,000 participants, including 1,000 international runners.
