Cambodia-Laos Transit Transport Opens for Cambodian Durian Exports to China

A new transit transport route for Cambodian agricultural products, including durian, to the Chinese market via Laos was officially inaugurated in Vientiane on June 22, 2026. This initiative, a result of close cooperation between the Cambodian and Lao Ministries of Agriculture, aims to boost exports of six agricultural products.

    Cambodia and Laos have launched a new transit transport route for Cambodian agricultural products to China, passing through Laos. The official inauguration ceremony took place in Vientiane on June 22, 2026, with the participation of 30 Cambodian private sector representatives. This initiative facilitates the export of six Cambodian agricultural products, including bananas, mangoes, rice, pineapples, cassava flour, and durian.
