Angkor Heritage Site Experts Inspect Restoration Sites Ahead of UNESCO Technical Meeting

An expert team from the International Coordinating Committee for the Protection and Development of the Angkor and Sambor Prei Kuk Heritage Zones (ICC-Angkor/Sambor Prei Kuk) has inspected the restoration sites of key temples ahead of the 42nd Technical Meeting. The inspections, which began on June 1, included major temples such as Bakong, Banteay Srei, and Ta Prohm. Experts received detailed progress reports and provided recommendations to ensure high-quality conservation and restoration work adheres to international standards. The meeting is scheduled to take place in Siem Reap from June 9-10.
