
Cambodia Cracks Down on 139 Illegal Encroachments in Protected Areas
Cambodia's Ministry of Environment announced on June 3rd that it has intensified crackdowns on illegal land encroachment and deforestation within protected areas in Siem Reap province. Between March and April, a total of 139 cases, covering approximately 348 hectares, were identified in two protected zones, with authorities initiating legal proceedings.
