WASME Delegation Eyes Cambodian Cosmetics Market, Seeks Business Partners and Production Hub

A delegation from the World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (WASME) has shown strong interest in Cambodia's cosmetics market, aiming to explore business partnerships and establish a production factory within the country. On the morning of August 6th, 2026, Cambodian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Mr. Khuon Ponreaksa, met with the WASME delegation, led by Dr. Rhee Sung woo, Secretary-General of the World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (WASME), at the Cambodian Embassy in Seoul for discussions. During the meeting, the delegation expressed their interest in Cambodia's cosmetics market and their intention to seek business partners and establish a production factory in Cambodia. Ambassador Khuon Ponreaksa informed the delegation about the potential, preferential conditions, and other benefits of investing in Cambodia, particularly in Special Economic Zones. The Ambassador also invited the delegation to visit Cambodia firsthand to further study the market and engage in direct discussions with relevant partners. The embassy stands ready to cooperate and facilitate meetings with relevant institutions. WASME is an international organization that promotes and supports small and medium-sized enterprises in developing skills, training capabilities, technology, business management, and promotion. In its over 45 years of operation, the association has approximately 1,000 member companies worldwide.
