National Skill Standards Authority (NSSA) presented national-level skill standard certificates to certify workers at a ceremony held at the city hall in Chanayethazan Township of Mandalay Region on Friday. Union Minister for Labour U Khin Maung Soe attended the meeting and gave a speech. This was followed by presenting the skill standard certificates to those who passed employment assessment tests. NSSA, operating under the Ministry of Labour, is elevating country’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) while issuing skill standard certificates to those who validate the practical abilities and knowledge through on-the-job experience. From 2014 to August 2026, skill standard certificates were presented to over 33,000 workers for 42 types of jobs.
