In a social media post, the NNC said it looks forward to working with Domingo to promote healthier communities and make quality nutrition a priority. Meanwhile, the DOH Media Relations Division told GMA News Online that no one so far been officially appointed to replace Domingo and said that all inquiries be directed to the specific DOH division of concern. Domingo's new post came after Jose Pujalte Jr. was appointed as the new Health secretary, following Ted Herbosa's resignation. Pujalte served as president of the Philippine Orthopedic Association and the ASEAN Orthopedic Association and has been with the DOH since 1991.
