Thai SME Sentiment Index Exceeds Baseline for First Time in 5 Months; Government Procurement System Revamped to Boost Support

Thailand's SME Sentiment Index reached 50.8 in July 2026, exceeding the baseline for the first time in five months. In collaboration with the Comptroller General's Department, the government will revise the THAI SME GP (Government Procurement) system in three areas from October 1st, aiming to deliver tangible benefits to genuine SMEs.
