Discussions were held on actively participating in "Belt and Road" Initiative projects and continuing their implementation for the benefit of Myanmar, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. The first coordination meeting of the "Belt and Road" Initiative Implementation Working Committee was held on June 30 at the Stewart Gable Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At the meeting, opinions were exchanged regarding the enhancement of coordination and cooperation between ministries to support the "Belt and Road" Initiative Steering Committee, and the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation between Myanmar and China in the implementation of "Belt and Road" projects. Members of the "Belt and Road" Initiative Implementation Working Committee from 23 ministries, the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, and the Nay Pyi Taw Council attended the meeting, and reviewed and discussed the projects being implemented under the "Belt and Road" Initiative framework and their progress, it was reported.
