The tenth day of the second regular session of the Third Pyidaungsu Hluttaw was held on July 23rd, at the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw, with 543 out of 560 eligible Hluttaw representatives in attendance. According to the agenda, motions were moved to approve the Bill Amending the Law Relating to Drafting and Submitting the Union Budget (2026), clause by clause, and decisions were sought from the Hluttaw. Following that, Deputy Minister for Finance and Revenue Daw Than Than Lin moved a motion to pass the entire bill, obtaining the Hluttaw's approval. Next, motions were moved to approve the Bill Amending the Law Relating to Drafting and Submitting the Region or State Budget (2026), clause by clause, and decisions were obtained from the Hluttaw. Afterward, Deputy Minister Daw Than Than Lin moved a motion to approve the entire bill as a whole, which was subsequently approved by the Hluttaw. Then, Deputy Minister for Finance and Revenue U Han Win Aung presented to the Hluttaw regarding the extension of tax exemptions sent by the President, specifically concerning Special Goods Tax and Commercial Tax on High-Speed Diesel (HSD 500 ppm), as well as Commercial Tax exemptions on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). It was announced that Hluttaw representatives who wish to discuss the matter may register their names. The 11th day of the session will resume on July 28 at 10:00 a.m.
