Vietnamese PM Lays Wreath at Ho Chi Minh Statue in New Delhi

Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, visited India from September 12-13. During his visit, Prime Minister Hung and the high-level Vietnamese delegation laid a wreath at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh in G20 Park, New Delhi. In a solemn atmosphere, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and the delegation paid tribute and observed a moment of silence for President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of the Vietnamese Party and people, and the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution. The statue of President Ho Chi Minh is located in the diplomatic enclave of Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. This monument holds significant political and diplomatic meaning, symbolizing the close bond between the leaders and peoples of the two countries, and India's special affection for President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam in general. The statue was crafted by Ram V. Sutar, one of India's leading sculptors, and was inaugurated on June 21, 2022.
