Some commanders, including a military major, killed in Myeiktaw-Kanpetlet battles, says CPU/CPA

In battles that took place in Myeiktaw and Kanpetlet townships in southern Chin State, some commanders, including Major Kyaw Set of the SAC forces, were killed and many were injured, and weapons, ammunition and military supplies were seized, according to the Chinland Defence Force (CDF) Chinland People's Defence Force (CPU/CPA) statement released on August 1. According to the CPU/CPA statement, the SAC forces have been launching offensives in the Myeiktaw and Kanpetlet regions, and battles continued between the Chinland People's Defence Force (CPA) and allied forces until the end of July. The revolutionary allied forces have been fighting back against the SAC forces' offensives and have also launched counter-offensives against the enemy's temporary bases. It is also stated that Chin Brothers (CB) group members, Yao region forces YA, YDF, and other allied revolutionary forces participated in the battles alongside the CPA. CPU/CPA said that in these battles, some commanders, including Regiment Commander Major Kyaw Set of the SAC forces, were killed and many soldiers were injured. Furthermore, the statement indicated that the bodies of SAC soldiers, various weapons and ammunition, drones, jammer devices, and other military supplies were seized, and some prisoners of war were also captured. CPU/CPA stated that some SAC soldiers fled and surrendered to the revolutionary forces with their weapons, and they have been safely accommodated and arrangements are being made for their return to their families.
