Da Nang Jackfruit Tree Bearing 100 Fruits Debunks AI Generation Claims

A jackfruit tree in Da Nang City, central Vietnam, bearing approximately 100 fruits, has become a viral sensation online. While many commenters initially assumed the striking images were AI-generated, the person behind the photos has confirmed the tree's existence is entirely real. Located on Nhon Hoa 12 Street, the tree stunned Quang Nam when he first visited an acquaintance's house. Captivated by the sight, he obtained permission to photograph and share it online. The tree's fame stems not only from its prolific yield but also from the architectural ingenuity that accommodates its growth. The homeowner ingeniously designed a square ceiling cutout leading directly to the second-floor balcony, providing ample space for the tree to grow upward, branch out into a lush canopy, and even bear fruit on the upper deck. Mrs. Xuan, the homeowner, shared that the tree was planted 15 years ago and yields such a heavy harvest every single year. She also revealed that the idea to design the house with an opening for the tree was conceived by her children. Currently bearing around 100 fruits, some past seasons have seen even larger harvests. Netizens have expressed sheer amazement, with many wishing to visit and admire the one-of-a-kind tree. Prolific jackfruit trees are not unprecedented in Vietnam. Previously, a similar tree garnered public attention at a coffee shop in Tuyen Quang Province. That tree, boasting a massive, twisting trunk and broad foliage, produced large jackfruits weighing 5 to 7 kilograms each, resting directly across the second-floor wooden floorboards.
