NBI Urged to Probe Discriminatory Online Attacks Against Persons With Disabilities
A Philippine lawmaker has requested the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to investigate up to 30 online accounts for alleged dehumanizing and discriminatory remarks against persons with disabilities (PWDs). Accompanied by PWD advocates, the complaint cited potential violations of the Magna Carta and Safe Spaces Act.
