Cambodia's CfRV Mine Clearance Project Liberates Over 427 Sq Km of Land in Two Decades

Cambodia's Mine Clearance for Results (CfRV) project, initiated in 2006, has successfully cleared and returned approximately 427 square kilometers of mine-affected land for safe use over the past two decades. In the first half of 2026 alone, 3.77 sq km were cleared, with 58 anti-personnel mines and 1,012 explosive remnants of war neutralized. The project has now entered its fifth phase (2026-2030) and seeks continued international support.
