President Prabowo Tests Durability of BRIN-Developed Coconut Fiber Roof Tiles

President Prabowo of Indonesia personally tested the durability of innovative roof tiles developed by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). On Thursday (6/8), the president inspected various innovative products showcased by approximately 150 BRIN researchers during their visit to the palace. Among these innovations, particular attention was drawn to roof tiles made primarily from coconut fiber, a departure from conventional tiles made from clay. President Prabowo took one of these new material tiles, threw it onto the floor, and then stepped on it himself to verify its strength. BRIN Head Arif Satria stated that the researchers will present their findings and innovations to help solve the nation's problems.
