Cambodia has recovered nearly 27,000 pieces of unexploded ordnance (UXO) and over 276 tonnes of war-related scrap metal from its waterways since 2023, according to the Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC). The ongoing effort aims to enhance waterway safety and support socio-economic development.
