Myanmar exports over 330,000 tons of rubber

Rubber produced across Myanmar has been exported to foreign countries, and as of the current period of the 2025-2026 fiscal year, over 330,000 tons of rubber have been exported, according to the Perennial Crops Division of the Department of Agriculture. It is reported that US$519.839 million in revenue was generated from these exports. It is understood that during the rainy season, rubber seedlings are distributed to rubber-growing farmers to enable them to expand cultivation, and fertilizers are also distributed to farmers by the Department of Agriculture's programs in respective regions, districts, and townships. Furthermore, it is said that training related to rubber and technical skills training are being provided. Currently, it is understood that rubber cultivation covers over 1.6 million acres nationwide, with over 1 million acres being tapped for latex.
