Rural Development : Essential tools provided for development projects

Shan State Department of Small-Scale Industries under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development is implementing the Project: “Rural Family Income Improvement through Creating Small-Scale Manufacturing Enterprises” with the aim for socio-economic development of locals. On 17th July, provision ceremony of essential tools for region development took place at the Taunggyi City Hall. Chief Minister U Sai Htein Soe attended the ceremony and made a speech, saying that the project has been implemented starting from 2023-2024 to 2025-2026 fiscal years and benefited 96 villages in Shan State. The Chief Minister also urged to those who will run their own businesses in Shan State to try their best for socio-economic development of locals. 20 items of essential materials were provided to 50 outstanding individuals from 10 projects in Taunggyi and Kalaw Districts. After the ceremony, the Chief Minister, State Hluttaw Speaker and officials toured around the displayed essential items for region development.
