Dak Lak Province Accelerates Housing Repair and Construction for Local Residents

In Dak Lak Province, located in Vietnam's Central Highlands, efforts to provide housing support for local residents, particularly disadvantaged families, are being accelerated. On the afternoon of July 31, a delegation led by Colonel Do Quang Thấm, Deputy Political Commissar of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command and concurrently Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, visited and encouraged soldiers engaged in the construction and repair of houses for disadvantaged families in Ea Kao commune. This activity is part of the "Quang Trung Campaign," aimed at supporting residents whose homes were lost or damaged by natural disasters such as typhoons and floods in the past. The province is striving for the rapid reconstruction and repair of housing for affected compatriots, and this visit to boost the morale of the soldiers is seen as an effort to accelerate progress. Under Vietnam's one-party system, social welfare policies are positioned as a crucial responsibility of the Party and the government. Reconstruction from disasters and support for the poor are prioritized to maintain social stability and public trust. This initiative in Dak Lak Province is thus situated within such policy frameworks.
