5G services to be launched soon, says Deputy Minister of Communications

5G services will be launched soon, said U Thet Win Aung, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications. He made this statement on September 20 when he met with officials from mobile telephone operators and internet service providers at the Hanthawaddy Office in San Chaung Township, Yangon Region. Furthermore, he urged them to continue cooperating in the work to systematically clear the complex cables in Yangon city. After the meeting, it was learned that he inspected the data center operations at the MyTel telephone operator's office. Similarly, he inspected the operational status of the satellite communication ground station and international maritime radio stations in Pyin Htaung Kyauk Village, Twante Township, Yangon Region, the systematic development and implementation of annual training programs to enhance the professional skills of Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications staff at the Telecommunications Training School in Pazundaung Township, the practical training equipment, and the instruction provided through digital online technologies in the training. Subsequently, he visited the Central Stores Depot of Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications in Botataung Township and spoke about the systematic storage of equipment and its distribution and usage in accordance with procedures.
