Cambodian PM Reaffirms No Budget Cuts from Education, Health for Military Spending

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet has reiterated that the government has no intention of cutting education and health budgets to increase military spending. He emphasized that during the medium-term financial plan for 2027-2029, investments in health and education are projected to rise, and sufficient funds are available to cover increased defense expenditures without diverting from these sectors.
