Cambodia Women's Association's Kep Provincial Branch Reviews First Half of 2026 Activities

The Kep Provincial Branch of the Cambodia Women's Association for Peace and Development held a meeting on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the provincial hall to review its work for the first half of the year and to announce the approval of adjustments to the sub-committee composition. Presided over by Ms. Sok Malida, President of the Kep Provincial Branch of the Cambodia Women's Association for Peace and Development, the meeting focused on summarizing the achievements of the first six months of 2026 and formally recognizing changes within the association's sub-committees. During the event, Ms. Kim Chanty delivered a welcome report and a summary of the activities undertaken in the first half of 2026. She highlighted that the members and working teams have diligently fulfilled their duties, contributing to the broader goals of the Cambodia Women's Association for Peace and Development and all levels of women's movements, aiming to achieve the common objective of "building truly happy families and communities." Ms. Sok Malida conveyed the regards and well wishes from H.E. Dr. Men Sam An, Advisor to His Majesty the King, Vice President of the Cambodian People's Party, President of the Mass Mobilization Committee, and President of the Cambodia Women's Association for Peace and Development. She also expressed profound gratitude to philanthropists from all sectors for their continuous support, both morally and materially, which has enabled the association's branch to effectively carry out its humanitarian missions and assist citizens. According to the consolidated report, over the first six months of 2026, the Kep Provincial Branch visited and provided humanitarian assistance to 58 families affected by hardship. The branch has also contributed to addressing and responding to various challenges, including natural disasters, infectious diseases, improving the livelihoods of citizens, public health maintenance, education, and environmental protection. Furthermore, Ms. Sok Malida thanked H.E. Dr. Som Piseth, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Kep Province, as well as leaders of ministries, agencies, local authorities at all levels, and national and international philanthropists for their support, guidance, and resource contributions. These contributions have enabled the Kep Provincial Branch's activities to yield positive results and continue to serve the people more effectively through its humanitarian missions.
